Best for: More variety and whale spotting

  • El Morro

  • El Banco

    🐠🐠🐠 Aggressive ⏰ 10–12 hours
Legends have been made here, with 800-plus-pound Marlin, cow Yellowfins, Sailfish, Mahi, and more. It’s 50 miles from Vallarta, so we need to pick the right days for this fantastic spot.

    Best for: Personal best catches

  • Isla Marias

    🐠🐠🐠 Aggressive ⏰ 12+ hours
This is the trip for hardcore fishermen who want a legitimate shot at cow Yellowfins. Popping, kite fishing, and soaking live baits are the way to go here. We make the trip in ~3.5 hours, not for the faint of heart!

    Best for: Hardcore fisherman
